Sioux Valley is proud to recognize Quynn Nielson for serving as a legislative page in the South Dakota State Senate this session. Quynn was sponsored by Senator Casey Crabtree and spent her time at the Capitol assisting senators, observing floor debate, and learning the inner workings of South Dakota's legislative process.
The legislative page program offers high school students a rare opportunity to engage directly with state government. Pages are entrusted with real responsibilities that keep the chamber running smoothly, and the experience often shapes how students think about civic engagement, public service, and leadership for years to come.
