Students in grades 7-12 can participate in the SDHSAA State Visual Arts Competition. This is held at the Monument in Rapid City March 16-19, 2022. Artwork will be delivered Thurs, March 17th
There are 12 different categories to compete in, one student per category, and one student may enter no more than three categories.
- Drawing, Drawing (colored), Painting (oil and acrylic), Painting (watercolor), Photography, Printmaking, 3 Dimensional, Crafts, Traditional Cultural Art, Digital Media/Graphic Design, Mixed Media, Functional Ceramics
Contestants shall be selected by each school and the school certifies that each contestant from their school is eligible as stated in the SDHSAA By-Laws.
